TUS eligibility criteria

• Your unit must be a Micro or Small enterprise registered on the Udyam Registration portal (Medium enterprises are not covered).
• You must already be running production — TUS is for existing units, not new start-ups.
• You need a project proposal explaining the need, expected benefits, and sustainability of the upgrade.
• Your unit must be compliant with applicable environmental and labour laws.
• Both manufacturing and service-sector businesses are covered.

Meeting these criteria gets your claim considered — approval still depends on DIEPC verification of your documents and how clearly your proposal ties the machinery to a recognized upgrade area (quality, environment, energy efficiency, packaging, or testing).
