Why follow-up matters
A correctly filed TUS claim can still sit for months without anyone tracking it through DIEPC verification and committee approval. And because the interest subsidy has to be re-claimed every year for up to 5 years, it's easy for a claim that went through cleanly in year one to get missed in year two or three.
