UP Aerospace & Defence Policy 2024 — Incentive Assistance
Land subsidy in UPDIC's six nodes, capital subsidy, and certification/patent reimbursement for defence and aerospace manufacturing — we help you navigate eligibility and file your claim.
The UP Aerospace & Defence Policy, 2024 covers manufacturing of defence and aerospace platforms, systems, components, ammunition, drones and counter-drone systems, avionics, and testing/certification facilities — anchored around the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC).
The six UPDIC nodes
Aligarh, Agra, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Kanpur, and Lucknow — developed by UPEIDA with dedicated land and infrastructure for anchor and ancillary defence units.
Key incentives
- Land subsidy in UPDIC nodes
- Capital subsidy on eligible investment
- Stamp duty exemption
- SGST reimbursement
- Interest subsidy
- Certification, patent & skill development reimbursement — this matters disproportionately here, given how much testing and certification defence supply requires
Who it's for
- Anchor units in UPDIC nodes
- Ancillary and component units, including electronics suppliers based outside a node who supply into the corridor
- MSMEs in the defence supply chain
- Testing and certification infrastructure developers
How we help
- Confirming whether your unit qualifies even if you're not physically located in a UPDIC node
- Structuring your application to capture land, capital, and certification reimbursement together
- Coordinating with Central schemes like iDEX and the Defence Testing Infrastructure Scheme, where applicable
Message us your product category and location, and we'll tell you — free of charge — whether you qualify and what the next step looks like.
