UP Aircraft MRO Policy 2022 — Incentive Assistance
Concessional airport land, capital subsidy, and SGST reimbursement for aircraft MRO facilities, including the planned Jewar MRO zone — we help you confirm which policy applies and prepare your application.
The Uttar Pradesh Aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Policy, 2022 covers airframe, engine, and component MRO facilities, hangars, line maintenance stations, and associated training. It is administered by the Civil Aviation Department.
Key incentives
- Land: concessional terms at state airports
- Capital subsidy for eligible MRO facilities
- Stamp duty: exemption
- Electricity duty: relief
- SGST: reimbursement
Who it's for
- DGCA-approved MRO operators
- Developers of MRO infrastructure
The planned MRO zone at Noida International Airport, Jewar, makes this one of the few sectoral policies where Gautam Buddh Nagar has a structural advantage over the rest of the state.
How we help
- Confirming your DGCA CAR-145 approval status, or your developer eligibility for MRO infrastructure
- If your work is military MRO, checking with the Civil Aviation Department whether this policy or the Aerospace & Defence Policy 2024 applies — you need to pick one
- Sorting out customs bonded warehouse and airport operator concession requirements where applicable
- Preparing and filing your application with the Civil Aviation Department
Message us your MRO segment (airframe, engine, component) and stage, and we'll tell you — free of charge — whether you qualify and what the next step looks like.
