The Uttar Pradesh IT & ITeS Policy, 2022 covers IT and ITeS units, IT parks, IT cities, BPO/KPO operations, and shared services. It is administered by the IT & Electronics Department, with UPDESCO as implementing agency.

Key incentives

IT Park developer: subsidy of 25% or up to ₹20 crore
IT City developer: subsidy of 25% or up to ₹100 crore, plus up to 100% stamp duty exemption
IT/ITeS unit: capital and interest subsidy, stamp duty exemption, EPF reimbursement, power tariff relief, and employment-linked incentives — enhanced for employing local UP youth

IT Park and IT City developers

This policy does not cover data centres (their own Data Centre Policy 2026 applies) or GCCs meeting the GCC Policy 2024 criteria (route those through that policy instead). Only smaller captive units fall under IT/ITeS.
